Pretty sure I've seen the LHD parking mirrors in Central America. I'm thinking they were on a 100 series too.

I'll be back down there in a few weeks. I'll ask the dealer if they're available.

Where did you pick yours up 97?

I think I got them in Taiwan or Hong Kong in a speed shop.

Both mirrors can be clamp-mounted without drilling or permanently mounted with the self-tapping screw. I might have a few extra new ones sitting in my cruiser parts bin. I'll be home next week so PM me if you are interested.

The blind spot fender mirror is a breakaway design similar to OEM style mirrors. This is hard to explain, so bear with my (bad) description of its function. The mirror itself (the optical part) is mounted on adjustable mounts within the mirror body. The arm of the mirror body can be swiveled, so that if you hit something with the mirror, the arm will just swivel away. Moving the mirror arm back to the normal position will restore your mirror setting since the mirror adjustment within the mirror body was not disturbed. This is similar to the mirror on your LC, where if you push on the mirror body and move it back, it would not change the mirror settings. The only thing is the mirror arm held with friction instead of a spring (like OEM mirrors), so you will have to move it back to the normal setting instead of "pop" back like the OEM mirrors.

The backup mirror is a convex mirror mounted on a ball mount. Arm is metal and the mirror housing is crinkled plastic finish. Unfortunately, the backup mirror is not large enough to see the entire rear bumper of the LC, so I have it adjusted to view the passenger side of the rear bumper, where I can't judge the distance as well. The bonus of the mirror is that I can hitch my trailer without getting out and checking/ double checking the ball/hitch lineup.
