Sorry, no pics as I didn't have the small camera with me.

I found two '60 series with factory OEM side facing 3rd row seats when I was scrounging wreckers in Honduras this past weekend! They need a re-cover and a little elbow grease on the frames. I didn't get them as I cannot give up any storage area back there but I could pick them up next time if someone is interested.

These were definitely factory as they have a mount spot welded to the wheel arch which is the same as the basic body color and is a factory spot weld.

Dude, you should SO snag 'em! I put dogs in back of my rig, but I'm sure some other crazy 60-loving Mudder will want 'em.

I've seen the illustrated overhead schematic of all the various factory seating version, but never seen the factory jump seats in a 60 in person or in photos. IMHO they would be SO much more utilitarian than the regular third row non-USA option, especially with a US-issue non-split second row.

OK, if they are still there when I go next (probably in the spring), I'll bring the necessary tools to remove them and the mounts.

I'll also bring the camera then.

Put me first in line...

third...............!!

OK I get the picture!! I'll see that I pick up the two sets that I saw at the wreckers.

these are a little crispy...

Do these fold up when not in use resembling the 80 series 3rd row seats or 40 series jump seats when they are in the "up" position?

Yes, that's how they work. I've asked my buddy in Honduras to send me a picture if he has time.

Well, that right there is the difference between the familair non-USA third row seating (readily available from Australia adn SOR) and the presumably very rare 60-series side-facing jump seats. ANYONE got pictures of those??? From the photo below, there appear to be single seater and 2-seater jump seat versions.

They are like the ones in the last picture (2 folks a side) and if I remember right one set was in a '60 with barn doors!

tofudi where did you get that schematic? from pimp in the linked post? i could swear i saw that pic before but with an 11 seater option . then i was never able to find it again?

just to clarify if my memory is correct the 11 seater was a bench front and 2 full lenght inward facing benches. i may have imagined it or it might have even been that it was on the same page as all the 60 schematics but in a troopy or or other wagon but.....

I grabbed that schematic from the link, yes, but that was not the first time I saw it either, but have no idea where. The 11-seater option is with dwarves or someone sitting on the hood (or roof). Seriously, I think 10 is the max OEM configuration, except in the HJ45 or HJ47. Given the contour of the floor for the second row passengers and how it was specifically designed, two really long jump bench seats behind the first row would not make any sense in a 60-series. Marv would know...

not that i try to visualize it theres no way it was in a 60 cause the back doors would be totaly pointless, musta been in a troopy.

i like the dwarf option thought i think they prefer "little people"

I think it's the "midgets" that prefer "little people", maybe dwarves too, but "dwarf" is not particularly pejorative. At 5'4" I almost qualify.

At 5' 4" you nearly qualify for the average height of a Japanese person. You're still a little tall, as I think it's like 5' 2" or 5' 3", but you're close. ;) I'm a giant for a Japanese guy at 5' 9". But then only half of me is Japanese, the other half is from some islands now called the UK, whatever that is. :D

You'll be in for a little surprise when you're visiting your relatives in Japan next time.:D Unless you're talking about elementary school girls:D or really old people with hunched back:eek::D, the avg. height for a grown man now is closer to 5'8" and possibly taller (for yunguns). I think McDonald's is to blame! :D

You can still be a "giant" if you've inherited the British half below the belt though. :D;)
