Show me your 60 series cupholder setup..

I definitely need a setup soon as it is hard to drive and hold hot coffee, smoke cigarettes, and talk on the phone at the same time while I'm driving 85MPH. Just kidding but who has a great setup that they would reccommend?? And yes I've already searched...

I bought the CCOT console, with cupholders. It's similar to the TUFFY. The cupholders are much better in terms of function and location. Not to mention the new console is armrest height.

Get a TUFFY, you can add the cup holders for the back too. It will swallow a bunch of stuff, locks good, and the cup holders are HUGE.

First thing tho when you buy a tuffy. Is paint it brown and put a tan cover on the top. Otherwise IMOP the black is fugly. Of course IMOP.

You can always custom make a console and have it covered in a matching vinyl. And make some cupholder to the front. Are you good with wood.

OK now with this console, I paid about 200 to get made, but I have make a cupholder for it......So no it doen't answer the question.

And yes tuffy owners feel free to call it Fugly

The cup holder CCOT sells for their console is the tuffy holder. I think it has been re-designed in the last couple years or so but according to the CCOT sales info they use the Tuffy holder.

Of course I'm only going by their, (CCOT) info posted on their site. Never seen the actual set up.

until i get my tuffy. i just bought one of those ones with the stickum on the bottom and stuck it right on the top of the stock console.

Whats wrong with the stock ones in a 62? are the diff than a 60? I like my stock set-up.

Yeah I use the stock one in mine. Except I added the cardboard box from the replacement gas cap I bought (classy!!). Now my travel coffee container fits nice n snug. The two mini spaces on the side contain lipbalms and a water bottle.

for those of us with FJ62s i wish we could go tuffy and still keep the rear heater! that is why i have not changed over.

I thought 62's could take a Tuffy console with some minor modification to fit the rear heater. Maybe I'm wrong but swear I read that somewhere.

Anyone know for sure?

i absolutely detest my center console. i have nowhere to rest my elbow whilst shifting my gears. and no cupholders
