Should we start a "Rig of the Month" series?

in the 80 series we've had a ROTW series for quite some time and it seems to work well. Seen some great trucks there and it usually leads to interesting mod discussions and good ideas to be shared.
So I was thinking maybe we could start one here as well.
We'd need to have a public signup sheet and those we do sign up would need to commit to deliver otherwise it'll go to pot quickly.
Maybe plan for once a month roughly since we don't have as many built up rigs as the 80s section.
Idea would be to present your rig with lotsa pics, description of unusual mods and tech issues etc. Doesn't have to be fancy or macho to be interesting.

Thoughts? Comments on idea and format?

But most importantly, tell me if you are prepared to sign up and show us your rig. I'd need an idea of how many we have potentially to see if it makes sense to go ahead.

I have seen some quite non-stock 100 pics on this site. I think it would be a cool section. Mine will not be in it because the only two ways it is not stock - a manic running board (very uncool) and Lexus wheels (don't know how it got those. It had them when I bought it). And no, the cooper tires do not add anything to the look........

rig of the month? definately. There are enough to last at least a year...and with more and more people buying them as 2007 rolls on, we should be good to go. Last year i would have said no but i think it is doable now.

I think there are plenty of modified 100 on this list! I think that is a great idea. I am sure there are at least 2 trucks that has the Schott's rear shock mod - so that's two weeks right there.

no, i stick to the speed limit. Actually, i would rather see a bunch of pics of all the OTHER rigs. Mines stock till i go to costco later...

I agree, once a month should be plenty. I read the 80's ROTW all the time and look for ideas that I can apply to my 100. I would love to see what other people are doing. It was give me some time to add more stuff to mine by the time it is for me to post.

High quality response indeed, but the quantity does not suggest a resounding enthusiastic community response and commitment..
So if you want us to do it, step up and state your intentions or I'll just have to forget it and the 80 guys will have yet another reason to taunt us...

I know you could put 12 together. Maybe we should come up with some award. Give away free stickers, maybe one says Rig of the month. then we can vote for a rig of the year and get them a special sticker too. I think i towuld be cool. we could even split into interior mod's like electronics and exterior mod's like shocks, lifts wheel's.
