Should my friend buy this Lexus LX470?

My friends neighbor is offering to sell him an LX470 for $4000.

The details:

• 275,000 miles
• Master cylinder leak that he tops off once a month
• The neighbor has taken immaculate care of the car. I believe one owner car.

Should he buy it? Seem like a good deal?

4k, rebuild a master cylinder (hopefully) for about 100. Have him check the vin on the lexus owners site for maint history completed by a lexus dealer. Compare to receipts that owner has.

Rust? Color? Runs/Drives/Brakes ok? ahc functional? state vehicle located in?

If it's not rusty and leaky sounds like a fair deal

Have him mention the cost of replacing a master cylinder and offer less.
