Should I trade the 80 for a 40 (3 Viewers)

48 miles is a long commute in a 40 but not horrible. Like it was mentioned, you can modify things enough to add comfort. Our 80 is strictly a family mobile and I drive it to work a few days a week. It certainly makes you and your family feel safe and also has all the room a family of 5 needs.

With that said, if I were 26 and single/no children, I would have a 40 and deal with it. As a matter of fact, once my 40 is road worthy again, or I purchase another, that will be my dd. I only commute about 20 miles per day in a fairly remote area of Pa.

Everyone is different for sure. My kids and I will cruise around in the 40 but family journeys will be in the 80. As a single man, I'd probably just have my 40 unless I could swing both.
