I like a clean looking Cruiser. I don't want to rock crawl or go into deep holes. My cruiser is for joy riding and for trail riding at my hunt club. Don't want something that is going to make it too hard for me to climb into my cruiser but don't want something too low.
I currently have stock springs with 32" BFG A/T. I plan to go to BFG M/T 33/10.5/15. Right now it looks too low.

uuummm dude, wheres the pics? Welcome, enjoy yourself here.
EDIT: Probably don't have enough posts yet for pics, what was I thinking?

2 1/2 inch is a good choice. Looks good and less likelihood of need for shimming. Also should still go into a 7 ft door garage.

I went 4" Man-a-Fre w/Shackle reversal on my cruiser. Just get ready for a whole bunch of other things to go wrong. Shimming, tire rub, driveshaft vibration, drag link rubbing, etc. Any time you change the factory geometry, you never know what your're going to get. I knew what I was getting into so I didn't get frustrated. I'm glad I did it though, it looks awesome, handles good, and will roll over almost anything. Good luck.

Get ready for the addiction to cruisers!!:beer:

So are you saying those issues are more acceptable with the 4" instead of the 2.5"?

If you are looking for a little lift to run a bit bigger tires then the 2.5" should work well. If you are looking to move up than you can get the 4", then most likely look for a spring over down the road. If end result you want is a respectable cruiser that can run 33's the 2.5 should work. Just make sure the tire/rim combo you want to run will fit.
