I had to take 'ol Beastie for something less than an emergency service, but more than an inconvenience when I was doing training at Vega$ in May; I found Toyota & Lexus Independent Service by chance and was really happy with the quality of service, customer service, labor rates/cost, shop cleanliness, knowledge and timeliness. I ended up having them go ahead with some other minor preventative maintenance & service. Not quite a hole in the wall place, but it is a lean shop with an office and 3 or 4 bays. If you do go there, let them know that another 'Mud member was in there & recommended.

Also, PM member ay nako: he's one of the guys at the Henderson Lexus dealership/Service department & might be able to assist.

I'm about a year ou from the 120k service but the local Lexus dealer wants $1500 for driveline fluid changes and spark plug change and ahc fluid service. Does not include front wheel bearing repack for that price. Thanks for the info guys I will checkout these others prices.

Called Findlay and they will do everything that the Lexus store across the street does for the 120k service plus add the front wheel bearing repack and a loaner car for $500 less. Guess that is what I will end up doing. Might go over and sit in the Lexus waiting room and watch their flat screen and eat their free food, etc. :)

Good call! I've had great luck with Bob Baldwin over there!

Nick at Findley Toyota is taking care of me. Quoted Repack is $189. Seems like a great deal and if job is done right they will have all my future business. Update they charged $279 for the repack and the repack had to be redone when I had my OME installed at Slee since the bearings were loose and my 100 could not be aligned. The service manager at Findley did refund the $279 I paid them for the defective wheel bearing repack.
