Any recommendations for a shop in Raleigh to install a lift on a Grand Cherokee.

Very simple. Just 4 springs and shocks.

Or if any of you wrenchers want to do it and make a few bucks?

My Dads. His WJ is getting a 2 inch lift and some Duratracs.

Call Chase at East Coast Gear supply. They installed my rear spings and front diff drop on my 100 for cheap. East coast is in Brier Creek area.

Chase @ East Coast Gear Supply or 4WheelParts on Glenwood.

There's always Ramon's Cherokee Lift Installation Specialists in Morrisville. They aren't cheap, but they rarely do a good job.

Thanks guys. I think ill tell him Chase. He has 2 points so far. Any thoughts on a fair price?

you want to do it Roman?

you want to do it Roman?

Guess you didn't catch the "high prices, and unreliable work" part of that :D In short, no. Bad attempt at humor. Carry on.

no, It gave me a chuckle. I also meant Ramon, not Roman.

4 wheel parts quoted me 800 to install two rear springs and a diff drop and I already owned the springs and diff drop. Chase did it for under 200 bucks.

Hopefully 4 wheel parts has gotten better at their install pricing.

WOAH!! that is some serious savings. Awesome.

They saw a newer land cruiser and I do not think they had ever worked on one. This is when 4 wheel parts had just opened on Glenwood.

It this an IFS or a Solid axle rig? A shop that has done a few of these (or TJs or JKs) should be able to do one on a solid axle rig 2-3 hours tops assuming no frozen / severely rusted bolts. I have done a few TJs and JKs (solid axles and coils) and the last 2" TJ kit I did with 4 springs and shocks and readjusting the drag link to center the steering wheel took me a little less than 5 hours working by myself without a lift ....

Just a point of reference

Thanks for the info. That gives a good frame of mind. It is solid axel up front. Nice grenade of a dana 35.
