Shop/Expert near Boston

I just bought my first FJ40 last week (1975). It's in good shape, but it sat for most of the last 3 years...driven only 200 miles. Before I start driving it, I'd like someone to tell me what (if anything) should be done to it. I'm about 12 miles outside of Boston in Wellesley. Does anyone know of a shop or a person who could help me out?

You may want to go talk with White's in Framingham. 80% of their wrenching is on Land Rover Series and Defender trucks but they also wrench on Fj40s. For general maintnance and repair its not a huge jump in skill set to go from a Series 3 to a FJ40s

Congrats on your 40.

Wellesley Toyota are friends of Yankee Toys and they have good mechanics that are familiar with LC's. Currently, there's a nice HJ45 being worked on. Call and talk to Justin who runs the service dept and he'll give you some options based on what you need.

Otherwise, charge the battery, check the oil, radiator, and start her up!
