Shooting Event cancelled

Due to the lack of response, the shooting event for Saturday is cancelled. This weekend is perfect for cruising and camping so anyone that would like to join us at the barn and on the trails, you are more than welcome. This will be the last camp-out at the barn until the fall due to the bugs, snakes and weeds that will take over. We plan on camping tonight, then meeting at the outpost at 9:00 am Saturday for a day of trail riding. Sat night will be grilling and libations then another ride on Sunday. I'm not saying we won't set up a target Sunday afternoon for a few rounds, if someone is interested, but riding in the URE's will be the focus. The weather is perfect, so I hope you guys that can make it will come on out.
The barn gate will be dummy locked when we are on the trails, so anyone that is coming can get in and set-up wherever they like. Just dummy it back when you leave. My cell is seven0fourfour3eight3five44.

Is this the "target" Kenny mentioned earlier - the Heep, not your buddy :D

Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday had some problems after I got off work and wasn't in any mood to drive out to the forest.

Had a great time this weekend with the Monks on our Blue Sky Ride. We could not have asked for better weather either. Couple minor issues like a broken u-joint on Lee's CJ8 and me almost flopping the 80 on Kodak but other than that it was perfect. Hate that we missed you that morning Mike. Also got to meet Mile and Julie from Charlotte in their 40th 80 series which was beautiful. Thanks for stopping by the barn to join us for a bit. A huge thanks to the Monks for having us out. It was a spectacular time and we had a blast. It is great to watch Kenny wheel as his confidence in the truck and the 80 grow so much each trip.

I didn't get many pictures since my phone battery died so quickly but I hope to have some video up later.

Sorry for the late response - Julie and I happened to be up in URE checking it out as the newbies we are and we were fortunate to cross paths with these folks at the market/et al. We went back to the Monk barn and had a few cool ones - plus we got to sample some outstanding "Apple-pie" which I understand will have no effect on a mortal being.

I have to say, the openness and hospitality shown by Eric, Stacy, and much kiddo's (can't wait to bring my grandson to join'em), Kenny, Lydia (sp?) and Lee were second to non. We are looking forward to our future outings and connections.
