I need to replace the shocks on my cruiser and am looking for advice/suggestions. It is not lifted and the cruiser only gets moderate offroad use.

I've been seeing that around. What's the difference between older and newer shock mounting?
i can tell you that my 71 doesnt have the bolt coming out of the U-bolt plate but the axle itself but that might be a PO mod
