What makes a good shock?
How do we know which shocks to buy?
So the automatically adjusting valve shocks work on the 80?
Nitrogen Gas Charged, are they the same as gas charged?
Are the OME shocks automatically adjusting?

Here is everything you need to know about shocks:

1) If you are keeping the truck stock, the toyota shocks are steal at $25 each.
2) If you want better handling with the stock springs or low lift springs (1") Bilsteins are great.
3) If you want to go more than 1" of lift, go with OME shocks.

Some people have had good luck with Rancho's. Personally, I use Bilsteins, they last forever and are well designed.

Do you have the OE Performance shock?
Thats all they show for thr 80 on their web site.
