The TVV, part #25820-13020

I know it is a vacuum switching valve that is activated by the engine temperature. It doesn’t supply vacuum it only opens and closes.

What is its purpose for regulating the vacuum? Does it control vacuum for cold starts and then opens or closes when warm? Does it control the vacuum to the VSV’s beneath the intake plenum? Does it affect the EGR?

Anyways, any enlightenment on the TVV would be appreciated.

I'd like to know too

Thanks beno, that is a handy little manual. Much appreciated.

Looks like our TemperatureVacumeValve turned into a BimetalVacumeSwitchingValve
And it looks like it is responsible for the EVAP system/charcoal canister only

I am smarter now!

Parts nomenclature sometimes do not correspond to FSM nomenclature.
