I've seen the references to shock replacement and eliminating the OEM air feature. For those of you who have wanted to keep the air feature, what aftermarket shocks have you used?

I found these:
48530-69485 Pair Left & Right Rear Shock Absorber Fits for Lexus GX470 4.7L 2003-09 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 120 2002-2010 Part# 4853069485
Brand: Benefast

Anyone try these or others?

Someone else please correct me if I'm wrong, but the adjustable shocks and the rear airbags are separate systems. You can replace the shocks (and lose the Comfort/Normal/Sport control) independently of the rear airbags (High/Normal/Low), and vice-versa. I don't have a link handy but I've seen resistor blocks that can be used to trick the electronic suspension into thinking the adjustable shocks are still present when you replace the shocks with something non-adjustable aftermarket.

Yup, they are separate. I did the air bag conversion and ran stock shocks for a bit. Could still use the comfort/sport settings.

On another note. OP, I actually have the 4 shocks and airbag system in my garage. Still worked great when I pulled them out. Free for you if you really need something badly.
