I've got sensa-tracs all around on my 2000 Rodeo and they are firm, not but harsh. My OEM ones made me feel like I was driving a boat through turns, but the sensa-tracs keep everything nice and tight. I got mine at the local store for about $32 each. As far as on a cruiser, I'm not sure if the extra weight would make them a bit looser, but if you have a stock suspension I've heard you can't beat OEM.
I have re-badged monroes on my LC. They are nice enough. The thing rides good, till that 1" of uptravel runs out up front. Man it needs a lift!!

Rebadged as what?
Most shocks are rebadges. I think there are only one or two actual manufacturers of shocks. They however are built to different specs per the company buying from them.

Bilsteins...I just put new ones on my FJ60, Couldn't ask for more. Cushy when they should be and excelent when the road gets rough. And they'l last pretty much for ever. Too.

I like the Doesch Tech shocks. You can buy them from summit cheap and a lot of the hard core 40s run them also.
