I did a bunch of work on the cruiser this past weekend and was wondering something. I had the AHC taken out and shocks put in, but the old shock bushings were used.... are the AHC bushings different than just a standard shock? And would that give me any funny handling? I have a low speed thunk on the left side (I know my front diff bushing is shot) but didn't know if this has ever been known to cause issues?

What we're workin with. I think I'm trying too hard on this thread

I spent Friday and Saturday deleting my AHC. I also have a "thunk" now. As far as the the bushings go, I used the new bushings supplied with the new OEM shocks I bought. I reused the AHC shock washers on the new shocks (had to enlarge the center hole on a few). Very interested in what the "thunk" could be. Also, I now have the ABS/VSC/TRAC trio of lights on the dash. I'm puzzled.

The only rubber component I haven't replaced in the front end is the front diff cover. I know it's shot I just have to get in there. I'm fairly certain that's my problem. Check out all your diff mounts
