Not sure if this is the right forum for this.....anyone ever ship their vehicle packed for camping then pick it up at the destination?

Several things I'd like done to my land cruiser and would like to ship out to Colorado for the work prior to an event I'd like to attend. Would need to ship loaded up for camping (tent, sleeping bag, stove, coolers, supplies, etc.). I understand most shipping companies do not want anything in the vehicle when shipped (liability for stolen items and damage). Anyone know of a shipping company that would allow this, and have had good success with doing so?

If you do find one that agrees to it, I wouldn't trust them. Your stuff in the car would be considered "household goods" which requires a different license and insurance that auto transporters don't carry.

I figured that would be the case, but thought I'd ask just to be sure. I have some time to figure this all out, as the event is not till later in the year. There's also the possibility of just driving out and arriving a few days earlier for the work to be done.

We're pretty limited on folks here who really understand the 100 series land cruiser and modifications.

Thanks for the reply.
