Shifter bezel removal

I usually break stuff cause i force it. I put the shifter in N and un screwed the trans shifter knob. When i pull up on the cup holder lid, it doesnt want to move. I dont want to break anything. Is there any videos out there? Am i missing something? Trying to check connections on seat heaters. Thanks!

I prefer to start around the shifter boot. I thought I had a picture of the under side to give you an idea of where the clips are, but couldn't find it.

But it slides under the front console where the ashtray is. Just make sure you pull away from that while pulling up.

So pull up and to back up the cab slightly?
