I think the round celica 5 speed knob is $40 new from toyota, I think it's a direct swap.

Yes, the glue is stretchy like rubber cement. I used a very small thin screwdriver to get under the edge, and then ran it around under the edge to get it off. This worked better than an Exacto blade, which I tried first and did make a small nick. I used epoxy to glue it on the Toyota knob after cleaning old glue off with a little alcohol.

Good luck. Just about every one I've ever seen is missing. The glue must have been defective.

You can have my old 4 speed knob-but it's missing the emblem.

Having recently purchased shift knobs from CruiserCrap, I can say they are extremely nice and Highly Recommended. They are on sale right now too.

Drew - thanks for the plug...

I have looked into making replacement caps, for the OEM knobs, But they would not be metal. More of a domed emblem, like the TEQ emblems I used to sell. If enough people are interested again, I could pick this back up. -Mark

Dear China, I will gladly pay $20 for just the 5 speed cap. Thanks.

For those who are seeking a 5 speed knob, check out my recent post in the 40 Series Forum.
Long story short, I'm selling knobs that are exact fit -- same thread, same size as OEM, because it is an OEM knob with a 5 speed cap! If you just want the cap, no problem. You can buy just the cap, for way less than $20; USPS to your door in under a week.
