I've used Shell Diesel twice in my F-250 and both times an error message came up notifying me that there was water in my fuel. I will NEVER use shell diesel again.
That's not likely an issue of Shell diesel. More likely an issue of a servo operator who doesn't take care of his tanks properly. The best servos to fill up at are ones that go through high volumes of diesel and over all look well kept. If the station doesn't look well kept then it is unlikely the owner is going to care for what you don't see.
