Let's try to get together one Saturday afternoon in January and set next years calendar. I am unavailable the the first weekend and MLK weekend. Meet somewhere in west ashley? What is peoples availability with hunting and other events?


Can't wait for 2014.

My January is open.
 
mine is pretty full actually with me not being able to do anything away from house for 2-3 weeks...that is why I wanted to wait until February in my post on Calendar of Events thread earlier...to give everyone chance to recover from holidays and because I could not participate.

Come up with the schedule but two things wont be negotiated on...Logans Run and Wintery Mix...whatever you guys want to do rest of year is up to you as long as you take the lead and make it happen and participate. Sounds good to me.
 
If this happens I would make following recommendation even if I cannot attend due to some family priorities during the month...

- have meeting at Bessingers
- coordinate meeting to be same day that Glen can use some help to move into his new building next door....Glen will get some help moving, new members will meet the premier Lexus-Toyota mechanic in area and his great staff....and then they can get some food at noon at Bessingers before going back to finish up with LexTech in afternoon.

That is my recommendation...

So... Are we meeting in January? Anybody know when Glen is moving?
 
I stopped by Glenns new shop and spoke with him about this. He liked the idea. If I remember correctly, he said he is planning on moving around the 17th.
 
If you can confirm the date....and a time to have the troops rally would love to help. My attendance depends on how wife is doing but should be good by then. After two weeks in the house I will be ready for some bbq and hard work.
 
No matter what the date, I'll be busy.
 
saw LexTech sign is up....anyone get a good date from Glenn? Michael since you work right next door now almost...or Clayton while running around town during day??? My daughter has been calling to get her 4Runner Serviced and not got an answer past few times she has called shop on James Island.
 
No I was in that area this week and I didnt notice a new sign for Glenn. I replaced my driver side motor mount and it was broken, and I also found that the steering stabilizer on my truck broke. The stabilizer broke at the bracket that mounted to the axle and the end of the shock is bent and the shock is leaking. I also found one of the ubolts holding the axle to the front leaf springs is bent badly. The stabilizer broke after being home. I think Dickey Bell broke them.
 
Dickey Bell was not kind... And it was intermediate?
 
Since nothing else has been decided...here it is for January. I will be there to eat and drink a beer if anyone else is able that weekend.....


If anyone wants to meet and greet...new members, old members, absent members.....to eat, talk Land Cruisers, get some stickers or cards and to talk about new calendar for 2014......see below:

Smokey Oak Taproom is a grill, bbq, and beer establishment on James Island...good food, good beer, good water with lemon :) )

Sounds good! I've never been to this place. Brock, will you be able to make it?
 
they slipped my wifes surgery to February so should be able to make it...if nobody else responds by middle of next week will cancel...and can just put entire effort into the 1 Feb meeting and moving event.

now you told us you were available Martin Luther King weekend...WTF? You are the one that started this thread and said you would be available and now you are bailing after not setting anything up...hahahahahahahaha
