Nah. Just not a fan of unstable platforms. A buddy of mine design the White House's security technology under GW, which would give him a better understanding of phones and the technology within its systems. He HATES the droids. "It's a phone, not a power station." I could go into detail of the issues of that platform but I don't want to confuse you.
As a matter of fact the new 4s is pretty badass. My 4 does everything I want it to do and more but I don't need all of its capabilities. That's what a. computer is for.
Face it, there are the Apple products and then there's everything else. The best competition comes from the closest rip-off copies of Apple's innovative designs (i.e. Droid, Evo and you name it.) Of course you PC-ers know that, deep down, don't you. Isn't that what the Apple envy is all about?
Glenn, the iPhone does just about everything the droid will do, just easier and more simplistic, with a more stable operating system.
Apple does a major over haul on their phone every 2-4 years while Droid is trying to change their system every few months where they outsource their hardware and apps from different makers/markets making their system unstable. Apple on the other hand is mostly in house. Thesis what all my computer geeks friends tell me.
If you like a phone that has more accessories available for it, easier navigation and a more stable platform then the choice is easy. Im sure you may be happy with the Droid like the lackies here, I just haven't met too many people who were happy with them. If you want a Droid then I would look at the new Razr. That phone looks pretty cool.
Do your research and you will see what census is from people who are Droid owners who go to Apple and vice versus. You will see. The white trash rednecks here who posted in favor of the Droid are not refined people and don't understand. Actually, you fall in that category so maybe you'll be happy with the Droid.
