Hi All - didn't think I'd be posting this after less than a year of ownership, but I'm getting the itch for a 200 series so I'm testing the waters here.

This is my 3rd Hundred Series and I searched for a long time for my "holy grail". I wanted to build a kind of "UN Spec" Land Cruiser but with modern amenities and the extra power of the 06/07 engine. This thing runs like a dream and feels a lot more powerful than my '03 and '00 in the past.

Highlights:
- 2006 Land Cruiser with the VVT-i engine and 5 speed trans. 143k miles
- US Market, but Initially imported to Puerto Rico which means a very rare combination of NO integrated nav screen (physical HVAC buttons!) and NO AHC
- white single stage paint which means no possibility of clear coat failure

Modifications:
- ARB Deluxe front bumper with Auxbeam spot lights wired into the dash - installed 2,000 miles ago
- 5x Fifteen52 Analog HD wheels with Cooper St Maxx "tall and skinny 33" tires - 255/80/17 - installed less than 5k miles ago - Full size matching spare wheel/tire
- Dobinson C59-223V Progressive rate rear springs. Turned torsion bars in the front to match
- ASFIR Aluminum skid plate
- Slee extended steel brake lines all around
- Rated recovery points under the ARB Bumper
- Front seat leather was replaced by previous owner and is in very good shape
- Alpine Head Unit with wireless Car Play

Recent service highlights
- Entire secondary air injection system replaced at 142k miles. Pump, 3x valves, AND a new starter - all Toyota OEM parts
- Two new OEM axles at 141k miles
- New rear brake rotors and pads at 141k miles
- Previous owner said the dealer he bought it from replaced the Timing Belt / WP at 90k miles, but I do not have a receipt or sticker

Known issues
- Rear passenger door lock actuator is bad. I have the little electric motor I just haven't found time to fix it
- The car spent some time in Puerto Rico and Florida. Although the chassis is rock solid, there is some surface rust on the rear axle and some of the lower hanging points. Nothing structural - it looks like maybe someone dunked a boat in salt water and didn't rinse it off properly. See pics for more detail. Note - I have never had a stuck or broken bolt in my time installing the ARB bumper, or my mechanic doing brake lines. This is not a "rusty" truck - it is all very much on the surface.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness of cars and this is no exception. No weird smells. Interior is clean. Exterior has rock chips etc. from a 20 year old car but in overall very good shape. I've sold a cruiser before to an out of state Mud Member and I'm more than happy to schedule a detailed video call for any parties who are seriously interested.

This spec and mileage doesn't come around often. $32,000 OBO

Love this look, AND "normal" HVAC buttons! Am curious--if it was US spec, regardless of it going to PR or not, how did it get this rare setup of HVAC not integrated into the head unit?

Puerto Rico market LC’s could be ordered like that. Almost pulled the parachute on a similar one just had some sketchiness I wasn’t comfortable taking a risk on. OP is correct, this configuration doesn’t come up very often. GLWS.

Yea I'm not really sure why Puerto Rico got this oddball combination, but it's pretty great not having to bother with the integrated nav. And the bonus of being able to install a more modern screen or head unit. I think I've only ever seen one other on Mud like this.

It's one of the big things I'm going to miss moving to the 200 platform.

The short answer is I have a bad case of car ADD

The long answer is that being in the Bay Area, 99% of the trails I go to require a lot of pavement pounding - most of which is up steep grades at altitude (Highway 80). The LC with VVT-i is a lot better than my old '00 and '03, but the power bump from the 5.7 is hard to say no to for my application.
