What he said ^^

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves, and thank Stacy and Heather and all others that brought things for Saturday nights supper. It was delicious as always.

Now if I can just get things finished up for Harlan.

Oh and Jerry, get those photos posted.

Hey, I've been busy butchering welds on your tire swingout. But, if you insist, here are a few...

Guys,
Thanks a lot for having us along. We all had a great time.
Plus we have a couple jeep guys that know a little about Land Cruisers now.

If anyone has any pics of a White 60, please let me know. I only managed to get a couple on the trail.
I would particularly like one of me pulling the jeep out.:)

-Dave

Yeah, I've got a few pics of you pulling the jeep out. I'll try and post those up either tonight or tomorrow.

Had a blast again. I enjoyed the rain and the mud then went with it. I'll take it over the typical Uwharrie dust anyday. It was great seeing everyone and meeting some new faces. Our events seem to grow and grow each time as more people find out about our club. :D

I want to thank everyone who came out for a great ride. It was bound to rain on us sometime this year, but at least we got a good day of riding in, before it started. Good to see new members, members from other clubs, and potential new cruiser owners!

Next trip to Uwharrie is in December!

First and foremost, I want to say thanks to those who put on such a fun event. We had a great time. It was good to meet y'all.

Russell and Willem (the boys) had a blast and mom and dad are dead tired. It was our first camping trip with the boys and it was a learning experience. We'll definitely do it again.

Russell and dad had a lot of fun taking the 80 out on her inaugural run. The Cruiser was awesome. I really appreciate the guidance and the way everyone looked out for one another on the trail. It was well organized and relaxed.

I was nice to have good weather yesterday so we could set up camp again to dry out. Of course, the work is never done. Yesterday, in the parking lot of the BP, the starter on the Cruiser did not want to disengage. That was scary. So now it is time for starter contacts. Ho hum.

Please keep the pics coming and thanks!

Looks like you guys had a great time. Really hate that I missed it :bang:, but other things took precedence this weekend.

At least I can live vicariously through the photos. Keep 'em coming.

Robert sorry that I didn't introduce myself when I first saw you it took me most of the day to actually realise who you were.

It's all good. When I got home and saw that you wanted to see the new MOAB (mother of all batteries), I was like "darn, I was just achin' to show off my battery."

See you at the next Uwharrie trip?

Robert

Just wanted to echo what others have said. It was an awesome time, despite the rain on Saturday night. It was great getting to see the regular crew, as well as some new faces. Thanks, as usual, go out to Brian and Heather for organizing the trip and to all those who helped put together the wonderful meal Saturday evening before the deluge!

Good shots and looks to be a good turnout.

I think that's the same tree that got my hardtop gutter last time. My fault, but a definite bummer.

Here's some of my better shots.

John do you have a site that you keep all of yours on??

Al, unfortunately, I do not. I haven't had any time to figure that stuff out. I'd be more than happy to e-mail you any of the above. The originals are pretty big files, but I'm sure I could shrink them down.

John,
If you email those, can you copy me?
I'll PM my email.

Thanks
Dave

I was on my way back home and saw a sweet all white 40 near Lake Jordan. It looked like the 40 that the new guy Ron had in a picture. There was also an 80 right behind it...
