You are going to want a torch for the bushings, most likely.

I do have a propane torch. It's no flame-thrower, but we should be able to make it work.

Air chisel is nice to have too for the old bushings. I was amazed how "fused" they get to the spring hangers!! Good luck. Oh, one other thing, what size lift is this? If it is a 4", you may run into issues with the relay rod hitting the shock. If not, no worries, but if so, let me know - I have a solution for ya'.

I've got an air chisel, so I'm good there. It's only a 2.5" lift, so I should be good on the relay rod.

I should be able to help you out on Saturday. I assume you have everything covered, but is there anything I can bring as far as tools, jack stands, jacks, etc.?

Cool, glad to have ya Clint!

I'm good on everything except jack stands. I have 2 pairs, so I can make do, but having an extra pair or 2 would mean we could work on both ends of the truck at the same time.

For those coming by on Saturday, we'll probably get to work out in the garage around 9:30 or so. Come by whenever you can.

man I'm stuck at work.. id much rather be drinking a cold one working on ur lift. instead I'm putting a roll cage in a 69 camaro SS... :)

No problem man. We got it done pretty easily with just the 3 of us. I was amazed at how easily the old springs came off. I'm a big fan of Aero Kroil now. The bushings just came out of the frame in 1 piece with a simple tug. Unbelievable. The Cruiser looks great, but it's definitely a bit high in the rear right now since I'm not running the hard top.

Haven't gotten any good "after" pics, but I did snap one in the garage today.

So here's the "before":
