ONSC'ers,

I'm looking to put together a HAMOM for September. I'll host it at my place in Durham - providing beverages and some stuff for the grill. I've already got all the necessary parts, but my August weekends are all spoken for other than this weekend, and that's a bit too short on notice.

The project: Install a 2.5" OME lift on my '77 FJ40

Now, in order to maximize the number of members who can attend, I'd like to see which date is better for folks:

Saturday, August 14th
Saturday, September 4th
Monday, September 6th - LABOR DAY

Technically, I could do either of the Sundays as well, but figured we might have some church-goin' members, so that might reduce the number of available hands.

Edit - Forgot that I have a buddy's bachelor party the weekend of the 18th. Crud. Well, I guess we could do it next Saturday, August 14th as well.

Unfortunately, I don't have a welder, and my garage isn't wired for 220.

I guess we could also do it next Saturday (August 14th) if enough people are available.

Is there any way to change a poll's options?

Bump to see if anyone is interested in doing this on Saturday, September 4th. A couple of buddies of mine are planning to come down from Virginia to help out that day, but as many of y'all know.....removing the suspension of a 33 year old Cruiser can be a beast, so the more hands available, the less painfull it'll be. Beverages and food will be provided.

I did mention that I'd be providing beverages and some food for the grill, right? :D

Sorry Allen - I'll be at Carter Finley :)

Yeah, I kinda figured that's where you'd be. Depending on how late I'm out in the garage working on the 40, I might have to turn on the radio to listen to Carolina's 3rd string defense playing against LSU. Awesome.

Sorry Allen, Saturday is out for me, if you still need a hand I can probably swing by Monday.

Labor day works for me, i can bring ALOT of tools....
(have a s*** load of snap on tools that havent found a shop to call home yet)

A buddy of mine is coming down from Virginia on Friday. We'll work on it Friday evening and Saturday. Hopefully we can knock it out. If not, I'll post up and let y'all know about a possible Monday HAMOM, but I'm hopeful that we can get it done.

need any extra hands???

Could always use some extra hands when trying to remove springs that have been on a truck for 30+ years. We'll probably be working pretty much all day Saturday on it, so feel free to stop by whenever you can.

The address is:

809 Bluestone Road
Durham, NC 27713

PM me if you need directions.

anthing you need that you dont have?? tool wise?

The only thing I can think of is an extra pair of jackstands or 2, but we should be fine even without them.
