separating tc from tranny

I am doing an sbc/700r4 swap on my 83...

I need to split the tc from the toyota 4 speed...how do I do this?

You first have to split the case, and take most of it apart to get to the bolts that hold the front part of the case to the transmission. The procedures is well described in the FSM. Either buy one or download it from Birfield.
