Trying to get the fuel gauge working on my ‘73. my test light shows the power pulsing going to the sending unit. there is no relay or reason I can think of that would cause this. Is it haunted?? As I turn on power, the light is solid for 5 seconds then pulses.

This is normal I believe. There is a voltage regulator in the fuel gauge that reduces the voltage from 12 to 7 volts and this causes the pulsing.
