Anybody got any insider info on this? Supposed to be a 4x4 anti bling sema project.

looks wimpy. I thought I was gonna see some offroad armor and a lift with monster tires..

the paint is great the carbon fiber is ok but the wheels ??:eek:

i can't imagine a tire blowing up at highway speeds with such a low profile tire........

and what about the fact that you would feel every imperfection on the road..

erick.

I like some of the mods.....hate others....

Yuck!

Reminds me of a Cayenne!

i have seen worse......:p
28's.webp

I like the paint, the CF is ok, the wheels are fugly!

Thats the only thing I like about this Antibling lex. The paint. Thats it. The carbon Fiber looks ghetto..

yup x50 the paint color is cool but all else no good i thought de-blinging means making less of a mall cruiser??

If anything, they made it more of a mall cruiser.

SEMA Antibling LX570

Guys, this build was never intended to appeal to the mud crowd. Toyota did that last year with my SEMA 200 series renderings (which were copied by another contract builder). The Lexus market and brand priorities are different, and they requested a Cayanne/Rover competitor with some urban style, yet without the usual cliche's (OK.... except maybe the 24" wheels...). Glad it evokes reactions out of you guys, positive or negative. Bet you never even had a comment on the stock design, probably harldy noticed it because it looks like everything else out there, with no character. At least this is different, right? And for the record, the 24's with the Pirelli tires are surprisingly well mannered, although I will not be hitting the Rubicon in it.....

We already bashed the LX570 when it came out for looking like a bloated fish untill it disappeared from our eyes. Now were just bashing this one for taking the excellent offroading bloated fish and taking it's offroad ballz away.
