BOTTOM DOLLAR NO NEGOTIATION, $11,500.00

Ashamed as I am I'm posting my 97 80 series up for sale. I have been building this rig to last forever since I purchased it Nov 06. It had 92k miles on it when I picked it up from Bismarkguy bone stock. The vehicle was in above average condition cosmetically and mechanically but I did a lot of baselining anyway. I am a svc advisor at a local dealership so resources to work on my vehicle are very available but I still ordered all my svc parts from CDan or my local yota dealer. The only real reason for sale is my wife has hated it ever since I have lifted it and we never drive it, plus we have our first baby on the way and could use a break from the car payment and the extra cash. I will try to make a detailed as possible list of what I have done and maintenance performed.

-A/C evacuated and recharged with pag oil to baseline it
-Plugs, wires, timing adjusted
-Complete injector svc with multiple t/b cleaning's
-Air filter, pcv valve, fuel filter
-Fully synthetic tranny flush, syn diff fluids and t-case
-Front end completely rebuilt and birfs resealed with 4.88 yukon's
-Rear diff carrier/pinoin bearings replaced and 4.88 gears
-Front and rear d-shafts have new u-joints and have been balanced and rephased
-Mobil 1 oil changes
-Braided longer front brake lines, with 100 series front pads and new 80 rotors with the brake fluid flushed out
-OME front j-coils with L shocks
-OME front steering stabilizer
-Slee blue caster bushings with alignment set(drives straight)
-OME med rear springs with corresponding rear shocks
-ARB front winch mount bumper(no winch)
-Running boards removed and factory front mud flaps installed
-Factory roof rack removed
-Paint and body are in above average condition, no rust, very few door dings, one baseball size dent in the driver front door
-Desert dune/moon glow two tone factory paint job
-315/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers(less than 4k miles)
-Aiwa head unit with I-pod direct interface and pioneer door speakers
-Slee pop out cup holder and Slee center diff lock switch
-Factory e-lockers working properly
-Tan leather interior, no tears, probably a 6.5 out of 10 scale
-3rd row seating
-THE BAD: The rear main seal has a very slow leak(I have to add a half a quart about every 6 months or 3k miles) so I haven't been able to justify changing it out yet.
-The rear wiper doesn't work and I have never needed it due to being kept in the garage.
-The reseal on the roof rack holes has a little rust and looks slightly cheesy
-The typical front d-shaft growl/vibration at 65mph and up
I can't really think of anything else right now. I hate to sell it and I really don't have to but I need to if that makes any sense. I live in Alpharetta GA, 30004. My # is 404-435-1877, e-mail tommyshanwebb@yahoo.com. My price locally is $13,900.00, 13,500.00 o.b.o. for mud members. It has roughly around 102k miles now so all of the above has been done really in the last 6-7k miles. E-mail me for pics. Also if it makes you feel any better about the price, I paid 15k with tax and shipping for it almost two years ago bone stock(I was desperate for a cruiser).

Thanks for attaching the pics. Still can't figure out how to do it!

I would also consider partial trades. Preferably 1st or 2nd gen 4runner mildly built.

Yup thats what I was afraid of. My commute consists of about 5 miles round trip a day and I drive cust cars on my lunch break so gas really doesn't affect me too much. Worst case I get to keep it until people get over the shock of the prices and move on with their lives.

Ouch, sounds like some life contemplating is in order:hhmm:

Nice truck though and in this terrible market you just might have to keep it, what a shame.

Yeah, you would think after my 4th lifted toyota while I have known her she would be used to it but to no avail. I'll never stop trying though.

Bump for you, nice 80, too bad about the wife not liking it
