Selling bike price question

I built this bike a few seasons back and have put less than 20 miles on it. I should have built a CC bike instead of a DH/Free ride bike. The only used parts i bought were the frame/shock and forks. The frame was pretty much brand new and the front fork was rebuilt. I spent close to $1,000 on everything. How much do you think its worth now? Its actually pretty clean and only scratches are from storage. I had it listed on Craigslist and had some flakes and people who wanted trades. Can ayone tell me a fair price to list it on CL

Suspension: Manitou Nixon front fork with 5th Element rear coil shock.
Brakes: Shimano Saint front and rear hydraulic with 8" rotors.
Wheels/Tires and Hubs: Shimano Saint Hubs and Rhinolite rims with DT Swiss spokes. Intense Fro lite tires with down hill tubes 2.50’” and 2.25”
Crank set: Azonic Nitro with Lexan bash guard. 32T/22T
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Saint
Front Derailleur: Lower end SRAM
Cassette: SRAM PG-950 ( I think) 11T-32T
Pedals: Azonic Magnesium platforms
Chain: SRAM PG-970
Head set: FSA Orbit XL
Stem: Sette stumpy CNC machined
Bars: Sette Duo 1.5" risers
Shifters: Shimano LX with integrated Brake levers

You spent $1000 including the frame, or after the frame? Seems like $1000 is a fair price. Figure half what it cost to build, no matter now nice. Sometimes you can part it out on ebay for more money.

You'll get more money from ebay in any case; larger market.

You are correct, i spent $1000 including the frame. I just posted it on Craigslist for $650. We shall see. I trying to get some funds together to buy a 4x4labs bumper kit. Just noticed your in Morgan Hill, i'm in San Jose in case you know anyone interestred.

$650 seems a reasonable asking price. Eddy is right about expecting around 50% of what it cost you to put together. You will get a little more or less depending on time of year too. That may not be as much of a factor in CA as it is in other parts of the country.

Cool. Sounds like Im selling it at a reasonable price. I just put it a little higher on CL since people like to offer you less when they show up after they tell you they want to buy it. I just hate dealing with scammed and flakes.
