Took these in my folks' driveway today after spending two days cleaning every square milimeter of my rig...

The inside is 100% sterile as well. Only thing that I didn't do was the engine and engine compartment. That's because my dumb ass left my steam cleaner at the base when I came home this week. Either way, it's never in its life been cleaner than it got today.

Freakin' beautiful! Nice work...maybe I should wash mine - it's been about a year or so...

very nice cruiser. it's really clean.

Hey, nice work Spook!

Are you sporting the Charcoal Grill and Headlight Doors I read about? Or are they grinded down from the OG Chrome?

OG chrome. Put 'em all in the blasting cabinet at the auto shop to roughen up the chrome (after masking the TOYOTA on the grille and rear license plate light assembly), then cleaned all the residual dust off, sanded where the chrome was peeling from the plastic to smooth it out a bit and applied gel superglue to hold the chrome down and keep it from peeling further as I sanded. Applied about 5 coats of primer, sanding after each one, then just as many coats of black Rustoleum, also after between each one (save for the last, of course). After letting it cure inside for a couple days I put it all back on.

It holds up NICE to washing and bugs/rocks on the road. No chipping yet, and I even applied polishing compound to the mirrors to make 'em look extra smooth.

truck looks good. you gotta get some bigger meats on that rig boy....especially driving around in that part of the country :D

Just stationed there for now. No idea where I'll end up living next. Originally I'm from just north of Seattle, so technically I'm still a local boy.

BTW those tires are still stock size after putting in the Add-A-Leafs. I've got a set of four used 31" BFGs to last me until I can afford a new set of Geolander A/T. Gonna wait until I'm home from the deployment to put 'em on though.
