Hi,
I have a bj70 with a leaf leaf setup, I have arb greasable shackles and bushes with stock leaf springs.... The problem is that the control in high speed is not very good, I feel it sways. What could be the reason?
Tia

Does it have front sway bars? I would check all the rubber bushings for each spring and sway bar links.
Also, how are your tires? Make sure tire pressure is proper. If I’m driving faster,
usually a bit higher tire pressure works to firm up the tires and make it handle and track a bit better
Can you post a picture of the truck from the side? That way we can see if the springs are
completely worn out by looking.
Worn shock absorbers will make the truck harder to handle and recover movement at speed,
how worn/old are the shocks?

Are there any other rubber bushings I should be looking for... front shocks came with a bush kit so that I know are sorted...

Sounds like you are fairly caught up. Sway bars, but otherwise it might be springs.
Maybe one has a broken leaf? You could crawl along each leaf spring and just check.
They are what I call a ‘consumable’ item. They do wear out, and should be replaced
when they are. But a visual check can’t hurt.

I recently had the leaf checked and had the bend curve adjusted for all four set. Do you think the leaf has lost strength and can’t hold on to the bend??

A worn steering box can cause issues like this too. Also, when is the last time you've had the front axle rebuilt? Heavily worn kingpin bearings can also cause issues with the steering. Have you had the alignment checked? How are the tie rod ends? Lots to check.

If you had they re-arced once then I would say yes. I would personally never re-arc springs.
But I don't live there, so I don’t know how hard it is to get new.
GTSS certainly brings up the other area that you’ll have to look over. All your steering linkage.
