Hey guys I have a late 77 or early 78 BJ40 that didn't have the original seats when I got it. I put some regular 40 seats in it but the bolt holes do not line up. My question is, is my vehicle supposed to have the bench seat in the front? Thanks

It is also RHD.

77 or 78 should have bucket seats, but if it is an Aussie model, it may have had a 60/40 split bench. I think the RHD came with both split bench and bucket versions.

I maybe wrong ,but I cant recall seeing a 40 with the 60/40 bench split, only in the 45/47 series. The 70/73/74 series had them ,so who knows?

Found this while doing a search
