@aharlan001 Appreciate the confirmation. Just spoke with another dealer parts dept and was given a discounted quote of $485 for the seat bottom and $346 for the seat back. I’ll now be looking for a junkyard driver seat.

If this were me, since the OEM part is $400+, I would buy one of these aftermarket kits. Heating element only is $100 and heat + ventilation is $400 (per seat). You would cut out your factory system and then use the 12V power already wired under your seat. The aftermarket button is approximately the same size as the OEM button you would be replacing, requiring only slight fabrication to fit. There is no aftermarket plug and play. Your options are dealer oem which is several hundred dollars or used from a part out maybe 75-100$. If you go aftermarket you will have to wire into the vehicles power and install a switch somewhere. You will lose the factory switch.
This... thought that my passenger seat was dead. Wife bumped it to LO and found that only right side of it heats up. So thinking there are broken lines somewhere in the heating element. Will pull the seat and play with it this summer when I don't drive the truck all that often (probably at the same time I decide to replace the stock amp).Make sure you test both the high and low settings on the switch. For a few months I rode around thinking the heated seat was fully dead but I had only tested it on the "high" setting (even when I swapped switches to see if it was the switch). I accidentally bumped it to the "low" setting later on and it worked! So clearly my "high" element is bad and my "low" element is OK.
(probably at the same time I decide to replace the stock amp).
Yeah I have read through your thread while I was figuring things out... Have no problem diving in to mechanical stuff but electrical still escapes me. Not an audiophile so not going with a huge, expensive, high watt system. Just something that will play well and give me a more modern interface to run my phone/pandora/maps through. If you want some inspiration... I opted to abandon the seat heaters. (2) of Toyota part number 55539-60020-C0 ($4.03/each). These are switch blanks to remove the (2) switches.
Probably not for most, but an option nonetheless.

The ScanGauge mount is from Cruiser Garage: CRUISER GARAGE Ash Tray MountsI like that scanguage placement. How did you mount it? Do you like it there?
