I am looking for some neoprene seat covers for a stock 1989 bj 74 . Problem is no one lists this vehicle in any store or on line. Question is does this vehicle cross reference with any other more popular vehicle?

I bet ENS toyota in Saskatoon could sell you some of the industrial canvas seat covers they supply for the mine trucks.

Or you might have to order from OZ.

I had my 60 series seats re-done in vinyl. Problem solved....easy to clean.

You may be able to try these guys:
Auto Seat Covers - Wet Okole Hawaii ? Waterproof Seat Covers

They made some stellar neoprene covers for my 60, did a very good job:

Id send them an email with some pics and basic dimensions to see if they have the specs in their database considering the JDM thing.

Let us know how it goes im thinking of getting some for my 74 as well!

Conversely Iv also been thinking about taking the seats to a wetsuit shop and seeing if they could reupholster them in dry suit material, IE NOT covers; Not sure where your located but I was looking at these guys:

Talk to your local dive shop and ask where they get their custom suite orders sent out...

You could also try an auto upholstery shop but my experience has been for the most part they don't know how to work with the material and the s*** they try to sell as neoprene is a royal joke...
