Team,
My new to me 280k '98 Series 100 has 'OK' leather seat backs, but the bottom cushions are TOAST!
The seat heater I think over time just dried them out and cracked 'em bad.

How about some suggestions for a nice custom fit seat bottom at a REASONABLE price, and well to me reasonable is say, $50 each? I'm not a fancy dude, don't need leather and cafe' latte cup holders....but they've gotta look nice so the wife will at least enjoy the ride!

Thanks fellas (and gals)

Here is a shot of the Pax side.
The seatback should clean up OK
But you can see the bottom has a massive crack in it. It’s toast

Oh and the Puggle Co Pilot says hello

I don't know of anywhere that would sell just a seat bottom cover.
If you are not too picky and wanted to save money, take the cover off yourself, bring it to an auto upholstery shop, ask them to make a new cover out of vinyl using the cover you brought in as a template. It will cost more than $50. But I wouldn't think it would cost more than 125$ or so.

My reference for this being that my dad and brother have run/owned an auto upholstery business for 40 yrs.

I have a 1998 Land Cruiser. The drivers seat bolster is showing some wear. Is it possible to swap the driver seat bottom cover to the passenger side? If this is possible the bolster on the left side of the passenger seat which looks like new would become the new wear area on the drivers seat.

Nope they are different unfortunately.

I have original seat covers. I had posted them (backs and bottoms) in the classified section for $50 total plus shipping. They are not yet toast, and would probably be perfect for you with a quick clean.

If you want them PM me.

However you must request that they DO NOT change the shape of the seat cushion! I failed to ask the trim shop that recovered my lower and ended up with an almost flat cushion that has become the bain of my LC! I have never wanted to slam a business until after that. I haven’t said anything or reflected on FB. It just bothers me they didn’t say anything about it. If your driving it, your sitting there and it’s a completely different lower. I’m putting up with it until I get a replacement seat, then I’ll just throw covers on it. Wet Okole or Marathon.

If you are feeling frisky the seat bottoms are available new from Toyota-san. But they are around 5 bills with a discount.
