You know the spot... outer bolster just above the seat controls. Leather had been creased so many times at that location the leather finish has worked its way off.

Are these covers I can buy from the dealer/Beno or do I need to visit a witch doctor?

Is it time for me to upgrade to a 2013+?

Please opine. Thanks for your candor, prayers and time.

There's probably a leather guy in your area. We use a company (Gibble's near Manheim PA) that will stitch a new piece of leather into that spot really reasonably. Can't even tell that it was replaced. Pretty common repair on mid to late 2000's Toyota's.

Imma see sometime later today, when I have time.

There's a Myers Trim Shop in Greenville that does convertible tops and automotive upholstery. I have no experience with them but most of these shops do the same work. Found them online. Might be worth a shot, way less than a new seat cover.

Myer's Trim Shop is close to my office, I've had them do some boat work for me in the past. Ok work. Horrendous cost.

I have a good trim guy, was wondering if factory replacement covers were available.

How do the Escape Gears work with heated and cooled seats?
Escape Gear covers work great with heated seats. My 2011 doesn't have cooled seats, so I can't comment on that.
