Bug: Search not working? (1 Viewer)

I've tried the search function on two separate computers and two different days and can't get it to work. I get the following error:

IH8MUD Forum - Error
The search could not be completed. Please try again later.

reindexing today...had issues last night

Would the reindexing cause search results to be limited to certain dates? I'm only seeing search results that are 2007 and older.

Me too. Just came here because I did a search for "cruise moab" and most recent post I got was from 2007. Surely someone has included the words "CRUISE MOAB" in a thread title sometime since 2007!

Please advise

Indexing can take as long as 24 hours. There are 7+ million posts.

That's fine - just trying to understand. Indexing is typically for speed though, and in some systems you can still access the data, but it might take longer. Sounds like it's not the case here.

Fireball - Cruise Moab registration will open sometime around the middle of the month (current target), depending on when all the 2015 prep work is done (just in case that is what you were looking for). There will be an announcement when the team is close to being ready.
