What's a good sealant that I can use to keep water from seeping in through the small gap between the timbers and the concrete?

I get a lot of water seeping into my shop during heavy rainfall. It's a pole barn structure and the base (sill?) timbers are around the outside of the foundation instead of sitting on top of it. I plan to permanently remedy that when I rebuild, but that's likely several years off. In the meantime, I've been working on preserving the wood as best I can with some Copper Green so it doesn't deteriorate bad (and to hopefully prevent carpenter ants from damaging it). But I still need to keep water from actually getting in and making a soggy mess.

No clue, but a thought entered my head. Maybe some of that new stuff that people posted in regular chat that repels water. Supposed to be brushed or sprayed on. Then you can give the feedback.

That stuff would be AWESOME. I'd do my roof with it too if I could :D

Last time I checked though, it was still way expensive.

You could get some FRP panel at HD and cut it into 1' high strips. Bury the bottom in the ground an inch or two, and caulk the top with Phenoseal (which is paintable) or silicone(which is not) You don't mention what the siding is...and what ever you do, always come on a public forum asking for advice with no pictures...

Are you saying you would like to see my wood?

pics would help

Behold my mighty wood.

Finally remembered to take a pic while out in the shop. This is the corner post with the least obvious gap. Only one I could get close to with the camera though. Every time we get a heavy rain all the corner posts and several areas along the walls get a fairly decent amount of water seeping in.

I've cleared alot of ground away from being in contact with the perimeter of the shop so hopefully that'll help some. Still want to seal the wood against the concrete though and solve the problem completely.
