I have a rear swinging door (not ambi door) on my FJ40 that is rusting from the inside out. It has air space but is really pretty cmuch closed in. So I would have to drill a hole to get into it.

I would like to take something and spray it in there to try and seal it up some to get a little more life to it

Is there such a substance.. Is this viable?

Thanks.

If its a sealed inviroment, (if its not you can make it sealed) you could drill a 1/2 hole, then pour the POR-15 Gas tank treatment into it and give it a good shake / swirl.
When complete, you could then use a rubber grommet from ACE to plug the hole. Or if you put the hole in a good spot down low, use it as a drain hole.
