Seafoam Dripped and Etched Itself Into My Paint

I was trying to add Seafoam engine cleaner into my gas tank and some spilled out and dripped down the side of my 2000 4runner. I ran upstairs to get a towel, some soap and water to wash it off my car but by the time I got back it had dried and now I have dark streaks running down the back of my silver fender flares. I tried washing it with soap and water but that did nothing. Next, I tried some mineral spirits but that didn't help either. I just bought this car so I'm pretty pissed off. Seafoam is petroleum based, any advice on how to get it removed?
