So we got our first real shot of cold weather yesterday in the northeast. It dropped down to 9 in Nazareth by this morning. My wife leaves for work before me and I wait for her mom to get there to watch the kids. She left at 7:05 and I left at 8:20. But when we both got to the office the exact same thing happened to our 100's...

Hers:

Mine:

Both trucks sit in our garage and it was 54 in there this morning:

This is not the first time they have both had the same quirk. I just removed both engine covers last fall as they both begun to make the buzzing noise at idle within the same 2 weeks.

Hers is an 05 with 120k and mine is an 04 with 107k.

My 05 antenna is the same way. Even have a replacement, but never could get that old sucker out of there.

It's happened before, I'm sure once it warms up they'll be ok again.

^^ thanks!

As it warmed up today, they both went down with no issue.

They're both ok this morning.

How on such an expensive vehicle the antenna isn't built into the glass is a mystery to me. My 2001 Nissan Maxima that cost 1/2 as much had that.
