Trevor,

On paper it's all worked out... I'll keep your number handy just in case.

Hi Guys,

I am new to the Springs, but a longtime LC fanatic. I came from Arizona last winter and was a member of the AZ Lanccruiser Association for a while. I have owned a 3 40's, 1 60, and now a 97 80. I would like to join you on the run Saturday, but need a little more info. I am OME lifted 2.5" and Running Toyo MT's. Open diffs though. I have recovery gear and a winch. I also have not got my CB installed yed and know most runs require CB's in all vehicles. Will this be okay?

BTW -- Here is a pic of my rig.:)

Thanks in advance!!

Nice Rig David!, Sorry , but we already have 2 davids in the club with 80's Your going to need to change your name!

lol.. Just kidding bud!

No CB Required, but its always nice to have! We meet at the Western Gas Station on HWY 24 on the right side of the road right as you enter Teller County/Woodland Park.. Chains always help in the snow, but you should be fine airing those toyo's down!

Who else is planning on making this run?? Id love to go, but i need to ride with someone, My Rig is still under construction!

I drove my FJ60 today for the first time in three weeks. Its been down for the SOA. Its back on the road and ready for a test so I be at the Western station on Saturday morning.

Trevor, I *may* have the passenger front seat available. Backseats will be open.

Well????????????????

A GREAT time had by all!!!:steer:

No breakage is always a plus.;)

Plenty of 1'+ deep snow to play in...:bounce:

We even saw a U406 Unimog plowing the roads out there.:smokin:

Yep - a good trip. Enough snow to keep it interesting, but not so much that you were always churning and pulling people out.

Had a dramatic demonstration of the benefit of airing down your tires by the guys in the big 60 (sorry - I'm terrible with names) and LC4Life in the black 80 showing us that you really don't need lockers.

That was Chuck in the 60. Going from 32 PSI to 12 PSI made all the difference in the world. Smoother ride, less work on the truck, cooler running motor. It was nice to test it both ways to see what the difference would be. Great...now I need air $$

I still think the 60 used to be a dog in a previous life though because it keeps wanting to run over to a tree and smell it!

The snow was to good smooth test for the first trip in the SOA and front locker. Now I need to do some flexing to see what that looks like.
