We just picked up a 2014 200 series Landcruiser. My Landcruiser is an old school ARB locked 60 series so I have no experience with the AWD open diff system, center locking diff or ATRAC. I know in more serious offroad 4L and the center diff locked is used but what about 4H center diff locked? Dirt roads and snow I am sure but how about heavy rain? The ATRAC looks to be a compromise between open F/R diffs and lockers and to be honest is more than enough for what the truck will see until its much older because it won't be running any trails serious enough real lockers. How does the LSD in the center diff work? Do you fellas generally run the center diff locked offroad regardless of condition and what situations onroad do you run 4H center diff locked? Thanks for any help. It's obviously a capable beast and I have lots of experience with 4WD driving but on much different systems. Thanks

I live up in the hills of Salt Lake City next to the mountains and never had to turn on anything during any kind of driving... snow, rain, my house will dump 12 inches of snow in a day at least 6-10 times a year... Last year our city had snow plow problems and streets went days after a storm with out getting plowed. Don't worry about anything in the city or mountain driving the car will just go. I personally have never turned on my center lock I guess i never had to, never got stuck yet... Just not wheeling hard enough

I have gotten my FJ Cruiser stuck many times though. Rear locker saved my ass more than once
