Scepter Can Info

Dylan, the Scepter cans or spouts are not CARB compliant. They do have a spout that they sell with their regular cans (like what you use to get gas for your lawnmower) that is carb compliant, but you need an adapter to use it with the cans. Even then the cans are not.

I have to look into the legality of shipping to a CA address.

If they state they aren't CARB compliant, I seriously doubt you could do it 'legally' Christo. JMHO, not a lawyer. :D Would hate to loose you to the CARB police here in the Republik of Kalifornia.

Thanks man, the ones you find here in cali suck. . . so these may be an cool alternative. Let me know if you can ship to a cali address

Thanks

Dylan

Checked it out. Water cans can be shipped to CA, but not the gas cans. The CARB compliancy has to do with the permitted amount of fume molecules that can permiate through the walls of the can.

So sorry for the CA people. Not sure what the big deal is, since on all accounts the cans available that are CARB compliant apparently suck.

Scepter does have a range of fuel containers that are CARB compliant, but we do not stock those.

Seriously Dylan, if you really want one of those, get a buddy in another state to buy it, and ship it to you. As long as Christo doesn't have any idea, he can't be liable.

CaliCruiser. I had a mud buddy purchase some non carb cans for me and then a personal shipment to me. If you really want something, there is a way.

I thought the universal color for a diesel can is yellow, just like red is universal color for gasoline. Is that not the case anymore?

Christo, I'd still like an answer on the diesel yellow. Has this changed?
