Too damn funny. I thought similar when I saw this. I't pretty much the same full scale, Art Morrison Chassis, LS3, body of choice.

I make fun, because, I can't afford the Land Cruisers, nor the beer that I already have. Now I am talking about drinking whiskey due to this club . . .and . .I just can't do this RC thing and yet . . . SOOOO COOOOOL!

The RC crawler thing is actually pretty good exercise too. Ever walked up the front side of Daniel? It’s no joke. My dogs are keeeeling me!

Hey you... yeah you. You like beer don’t you? Well yeah of course. And you like RC cars? Well then you probably need one of these:

How silly is that!?!!! One of you guys needs to make one. This one is probably on road only.... that’s not gonna work for our group :)

How great would it be to play keep away with a drunk guy at the barn chasing a cooler around to get a beer?

The answer is very great.

I hear ya... I started this thread and have somehow managed not to blow a bunch of money on it but it is sooooo cool. I still have the micro crawler and the 1/24 cruiser model that I will put together one day. Need to find where in storage it is first though LOL.

This post is very fun, sharing with you.
I have a 1:16 scale RC Car, so cool, I like it.

Make me one!!! Seriously. Please!
awesome. I will take one too. Pretty please. Or details on how to build.
Sorry I am still new to the forum stuff. I would love to custom make a 40 series body for you guys! They take a bit of time to build, but when finished they fit right on to the trx4 chasis (324mm wheelbase) PM me if you are seriously interested and i think we can work something out.

Just out of curiosity what would you charge to build the TRX40 body?
I never even thought someone would even be remotely interested in this. So this is the first time I have really put some thought into doing a custom body for someone else.
It's ~$50 just to get the clear body (that I have to cut out, paint, rust, etc.) Pro-Line 3508-00 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Clear Body
Paints unfortunately costed me almost as much as the body did. (Rusting kit, white, yellow, green, clear coat, and primer.) For the "trx40" I did a double paint job on it, so it looks like it was originally yellow, then someone rattle-canned over it with that military green. It's a triple paint job if you count the rust I added ;). I added rock lights, headlights, tail-lights, sticker emblems, wipers, and other little details to try and make it look scale. Notice the mirrors, they suck.
Final price would have to be determined based on what you really want. Do you want sticker emblems or actual emblems? Do you want a full light kit on it, or just stickers that look like lights? Would you like a rusted weathered version, or a shiny new version? Do you want just a body, or would you like me to add on accessories? Unfortunately I don't know how to make an interior so that would not be included. But I do need to know the answers to those previous questions to get an estimate! Also I forgot to paint the grille on mine, if you want I can paint yours!
