Hello all,
I have a '71 FJ40 with an SBC engine. I'm trying to replace fluids, and parts, and was trying to find ID info. Here's what I found:
V0122HV (Front passenger side of engine)
>> this correlates with a 1965 327cid 4bbls, from a corvette?
6263751R (Rear driver side of engine) Says "GM 24" under it.
>> i can't find this casting number anywhere?
(i have to admit, these numbers were raised, but still hard to read clearly.. especially the "6" and "3"s)
I purchased spark plugs based on the first ID, and they do not fit. The present plugs are smaller/narrower, and are gap'd 0.035
I think I have an AC Delco HEI distributor, and someone suggested I should be gap'd at 0.045 with this type of distributor.
Ok.. any help with this ID mystery, would be greatly appreciated!
