Team ONSC,

We are hitting Uwharrie on Saturday from 2 to 6. Leaving Raleigh at 12:30. Only hitting easy stuff. No D trails. We will do the back of Daniel. We did it last time and everyone did fine. And hoping the rain hods off. The rain could cancel our plans. weh8mud4sure...

Please join if you are looking for some easy wheeling.

I’m there for the Outdoor Summit this weekend. Kayaking is planned at 11am at the Narrows Reservoir. If I’m done in time, I may be able to join for a short while. You all meeting at the Outpost?

Yes, we will meet at the outpost at 2 pm.

I’ll be there. But I’m doing hard stuff like normals haha. I’ll be heading up Friday. I can tag along with y’all after I do Daniel Saturday morning.

Are you doing anything a stock fzj80 without lockers couldn't handle? I've been wanting to follow someone on the trails out there to learn my way around.

Not at all. What kind of tires? Asking for tread and sidewall protection. Also, this may get cancelled if it starts raining, Uwharrie in the rain is a mess, wet red clay.

Good time yesterday. Nice meeting Bob with a clean stock 1994 80 series. Thanks for coming out.

Lots of fun. It was great meeting everyone. What I learned from the trail was I either need a 2" lift or remove the spare tire. It took a beating.

Went wheeling with the Clemson off road group. We did Daniel Saturday. Making great time till one of the 4runners destroyed a rear ring gear. Got him back to camp after about 5 hours and went and did Dutch John and ate dinner. Then at about 10 pm me and another guy decided to go do front side of Daniel that night. We made it to the top of the hill climb from the parking lot in 16 minutes! We were back at camp before 11:20. It was an awesome time. Saw @uzj100 as we were making our way out of backside with the 4Runner. Now for the cove next weekend!

@4LowandSlow nice on the 16 minutes. Are you on 35s or 37s? The 80 in hickory (that is for sale) on 37s and 6 inch lift has been up the front of Daniel in record time as well. Makes it look easy. My 100 has been up the front of daniel and that was tough. That was before I removed the rear slee bumper. Lots of banging going on. Working on a daily driver and then may take the 100 up the front again, just need a back up vehicle is something gets torn up.

I’m on 37s with about 4.5 inches of lift. I drag the rear bumper a little bit with how steep first ledge is but I clear everything else
